Memorial
Home Health provides a variety of services to disabled and/or convalescent
patients who do not need full-time or institutional care, but do require
some help in meeting their health and personal care needs. All services
are performed in the privacy, comfort, and security of the patients
home and enable the patient to remain as independent as possible. All
patients have the security and peace of mind knowing that our skilled
nursing services are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
- Skilled
Nursing - assess the patients needs, administer injections,
I.V. Therapy, feeding tube maintenance, wound care management including
wound vacs, patient and family instruction/education on diagnosis and
medications, monitor patient care and progress, and supervise and coordinate
the patient care. All aspects of the patients care are communicated
to the physician.

Health Aides
- Physical
Therapy - A registered physical therapist assists the patient to
regain strength and coordination. The physical therapist will administer
and teach the patient special exercises as prescribed by the physician.
- Speech
Therapy
- A speech/language pathologist develops treatments that aide the patient
with speaking, hearing and language problems.
- Occupational
Therapy
- Utilizes task-oriented activities to prevent or correct physical or
emotional deficits in an effort to minimize disabilities. Techniques
used include aides of daily living, adaptive equipment selection and
the use of exercises that enhance functional performance.
- Community
Care
- Dietary
Counseling - Registered Dietician is available for consultation
to promote a speedy recovery and optimum nutrition.
- Medicare,
Medicaid, Private Insurance and Workmans Compensation approved
- Serving
seven counties: Berrien, Brooks, Clinch, Cook, Echols, Lowndes,
and Lanier.
