Responsibilities include handling Health insurnace Claims, Processing claims, billing, and generating reports using Excel and Powerpoint computer software. Communicates daily with Physician clincs on billing and claims. Builds programs in Plexis system.
Biomedical Director Biomedical
: The Biomedical Director is responsible for managing the Biomedical Department. Receives guidance and assistance from the Vice President of Operations and provides guidance and assistance to professional staff. RN Cardiac Cath

Echo Tech Cardiovascular
Utilizing ultrasound equipment to visualize internal cardiac structures as well as peripheral vascular anatomy. Obtains cardiac measurements of cardiac valves, ventricles, atriums and blood flow through the heart. Assists physicians with complex ultrasound procedures i.e. Transesophageal Echocardiograms, TCD’s, bubble studies and stress echocardiography. Performs arterial and venous studies of the peripheral vascular systems.
Nurse Manager Cook - Sylvia Barr Center
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the leadership of the nursing unit/department and its daily operations. Is responsible for ensuring and delivering the quality of nursing care to Adult and geriatric psychiatric population, supporting the policies and procedures of Sylvia Barr Center (SBC), is accountable for the caliber of patient care performed by those under his/her supervision; promotes and coordinates team work with physicians and associates; interfaces effectively with other departments and administration; receives supervision from the Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer in the acute care setting; provides excellent service to customers and associates. The manager adheres to the TRMC Compliance Program, Code of Conduct and TRMC policies and procedures and HIPAA Privacy and Security Initiatives. Adequately instructs members of department on applicable policies and legal requirements. The C.N.A. is responsible for assisting with both clinical and clerical duties on the nursing unit. LMSW or LCSW (part time) Cook Medical Center - Sylvia Barr Center
Operates under the direction of the program/nurse manager, the social worker is to provide direct service to both clients and their families. Family sessions will be completed by social worker when necessary to complete this function. This includes but is not limited to counseling (both individual and group) and seeking resources to answer unmet needs. Social worker will facilitate placement in a long term facility should it be found to be needed/appropriate by the physician, it is requested by the client’s family members, and it is feasible given the client’s insurance coverage and financial situation. Social worker may function as marketing representative, making personal calls to nursing homes, doctor’s offices, personal care homes, assisted living facilities, and any other possible referral sources when time permits or census requires action.
Assistant Practice Manager Cook Medical Center Clinics
Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the departments assigned at the clinic. Responsible for registering patients, receives supervision from the Practice Manager and provides support to the office specialist and clinical staff. Keeps up with new and changing insurance matters and JCAHO guidelines. Will work closely with patient assess at the hospital to keep up with current guidelines in the registration process. Provide training to office specialist when process change. Provides customer service to patient’s families, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and other medical and non-medical personnel. Helps Practice Manager with day to day operations of the department. Helps insure customer satisfaction with every experience within the department. Will be cross trained to be actively involved with the patient flow daily.

Primarily responsible for daily cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms and/or assigned work areas in accordance to hospital policy. Directly responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital.
Dietary Supervisor Food Service
Supervises the assembly of patient’s trays according to diet restrictions. Checks patient’s trays for accuracy, neatness, and attractiveness and plate garnish. Oversees tray line assembly and set up and the employees involved in that process. Maintains all quality control logs and reports.

CDI Specialist Quality Management
Responsible for improving the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation. Facilitates review of clinical documentation to assure documentation supports services provided and makes suggestions for improvement through extensive interaction with physicians, nursing staff, other patient care givers, and medical records coding staff to ensure that appropriate reimbursement is received for the level of services rendered to patients. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of clinical information used for measuring and reporting physician and TRMC outcomes.

Radiology Technologist - PRN Radiology
The Radiologic Technologist provides patient care / services using diagnostic imaging equipment. The technologist is able to perform imaging procedures while applying the principles of radiation protection. The skills required for this position include being familiar with medical terminology, being able to communicate effectively, being able to explain consent forms to patients in layman terms and obtain informed consent from patients receiving contrast media or undergoing invasive procedures. The technologist must also demonstrate an excellent level of patient care and possess competency in the professional practice.

Supervisor Respiratory Services
Supervisor directs and oversees unit personnel to ensure effective, efficient and safe provision of Respiratory Care services. Performs all respiratory care treatments. Operates all oxygen delivery systems and all equipment pertaining to respiratory care including preventative maintenance on ventilators and the cleaning and assembly of equipment. Receives supervision from the Assistant Respiratory Care Director and Director. Exercises professional judgment in procedures.
US/NE Monitor Tech Step Down Unit
The Unit Secretary/Nurse Extender is responsible for assisting with both clinical and clerical duties on the nursing unit. Responsible for assisting the professional staff in delivery of quality care to a varied patient population, responsible for coordinating communications occurring at the Nurse’s Station while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and the provision of safety assigned to patients. Provides customer service to patient’s families, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and other medical and non-medical personnel. The Monitor Tech is responsible for watching patient’s heart rates and reporting changes to the nursing staff and/or physician. Use telemetry equipment to view patients’ heart rates and review medical records to determine normal heart rhythm and any variances.

Functions to facilitate patient flow through the health care system to include utilization review, discharge planning, infection control surveillance, and quality data collection.
